Problem when changing fuel

I used 20% fuel with 18% synthetic oil and my buggy, Kyosho inferno dx, was running good but i decided to change fuel - special for buggies, also 20 % but containing 10% E.D.L 2 oil.

Unfortunately my buggy started to have difficulties even to move an inch...after 5 tanks it runs but acceleration is very slow, revs are low and HSN must be opened only 2 and 1/2 turns from closed position whereas on previous fuel it was 3 and 1/4 turns and even that it performed much better.

Is there any way to make this car go on this fuel or i should get back to the previous fuel?

Just sounds like you need to lean it out,

But if your more comfortable with your previous fuel stick with it. If it works why change it?

But if i lean out won't it damage the engine or it can be opened only 2 or even less turns? I read that this fuel is better but probably not for my engine...anyway thanks for help

RE: Problem when changing fuel

how many turns out on the needle doesn't really matter,

Always tune to performance, and if there is blue smoke.

Each fuel is going to require diffrent needle settings.

You need to retune all your needle settings and change your glow plugs. Turn your HSN clockwise until it stops, then turn it counter clockwise 4 times, restart your engine, run the buggy. If you feel it is too lean, turn the HSN counter clockwise again, otherwise, turn the HSN clockwise to richen the settings. Once you notice the engine responds to your inputs as expected, retune your LSN until you get it right.

I used different fuels of different brands, nitro and oil content, including helicopter and airplane fuels. Everything works well, it is only a matter of retuning the carb settings.
;):D

you ment HSN clockwise to lean the settings right? LOL

RE: Problem when changing fuel

Because you switched to a fuel with LESS oil and more of a combustible product in it, it will be rich. Yes clockwise to lean, just retune and go, both high and low end. Even if the needles are a 1/2 turn out, no worries as long as its tuned right.

RE: Problem when changing fuel

I've just finished running the buggy and now it works great so thanks you all again for help ;) (burned few tanks while mainly leaning the engine and finally found good setting)
