Yes that is a good receiver batt, but what do you mean by a normal charger? You can buy the Profit Plus for around $25 dollars and that will charge it with three different settings and will trickle charge so the battery is ready when you need it. It also keeps from over charging.

From Tower Hobbies description for that charger:

**This charges at a 5A rate and is NOT recommended for charging NiMH batteries. The charge rate is not adjustable on this model.**

It's best to use a peak charger.

That battery is also meant for the 5B so it has that Tamiya plug on it. I'm curious as to whether that battery is actually made of 2/3A cells or the bigger 4/5C cells which are bigger and won't fit in the radio box...

but will they last for more than 2 hours or will a lipo be better
