heres how ya find out.all the info is right there.check the stock motors mounting specs in the motors page at the bottom of the page at tower.and do the same for the os.tower is good for listing every last detail on a item you just have to look;)+ or minus a millameter or so dont worry it should still bolt up[8D]

I think you would be under powering your buggy. My friend has the OS .18 tz on his T-maxx. I don't think it will fit as is.

is there any adabter or anything i could make it work cause holes r about a quarter of an inch bigger in the .26. but they are the same distance from top to bottom

Thats like sticking a 4 cylinder car engine into a one ton truck chassis... Sure its "possible" but its certainly not practical.
Even if you managed to fit the .18 TZ on an 1/8th scale MBX R-2 chassis, IMO you'd be quickly disappointed, specially with the bottom end accelleration.
At minimum, you want a .21 CI motor for that 1/8th scale application.

The TZ has as much power as some big blocks and even more then some. But it is still a small block and would take modifying or making a motor mount. I think you would just be better getting a budget big block.

I have a HPI MT 1 3/4 (highly modified MT 1) with a TZ 18 in it and it is wicked. I had to gear it really high just to keep the front wheels on the ground most of the time. When I hit the throttle all four tires are ballooned in about 4 feet and that is with it geared really high.

Actually with some work and testing it works very well. Chad Phillips ran a .18TZ in a Losi at the Tiltyard and kicked pretty much everyones butt with it.
If it's actually worth the time and money to do it is another story.
