hyper 7 problem

My engine keeps cutting out. Like I will be giving the engine full throttle and then the engine will stop giving it throttle, and then it will give it throttle. So the car sounds like this. rrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrr. Its really annoying. I changed glow plug, changes batteries, flooded my carb to try and see if I could remove and debris inside of it, checked to make sure my receiever was receieving, leaned it, richened it, higher idle, lower idle. What should I try now. I just installed a failsafe prior to that day of use and set the failsafe to just idle the engine whenever it looses signal. I'm going to remove the failsafe and see if I have a defective failsafe. Also My freaking steering servo twitches like crazy whenever I give the car throttle. Its so bad that it can turn the wheels all the way in one direction. I have no idea what is going on.

return your high and low speed needles to original factory specs and retune.if that doent work you have a air leak probley the carb;)

Yeah I have set it back to factory settins and tried to re-tune, that didn't work. Okay so if I have a air leak in my carb how do I find it and fix it?

I have heard that a good way to test for a leak is soap bubbles. Mix some dish soap and water, and use a paintbrush to spread it around the an area with a possible leak. Then if you crank the engine air will escape and you can see the bubbles get blown by the air. The back plate, carburetor, or the needles could all be leaking. If you find a leak, you can use copper gasket maker to reseal the part.

Okay I just did a little test. Ran the car without the failsafe on it and it ran just fine. My failsafe must be defective. To make sure it is the problem I am going to run it again later with the failsafe back on.

Update: Ran the car with the failsafe on and I didn't have the problem. I guess my car is fine now. Maybe I had radio interference.
