Buggy choice

please help....................not too sure what buggy to go for. My 2 mates have:

Rex-x with force .32 engine and 2 spped box
and
Losi 8ight

I need to slaughter them both as they have big heads and need dressing down a bit

I was looking at an associated RC8 RTR, Hobao Hyper 8/8.5 or a Hong Nor buggy with .32 engine ( or do i upgrade a losi 8ight)

OR IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE OUT THERE IVE MISSED ?????????

Thanks

Mark

RE: Buggy choice

How much do you want to spend?
The best way to get a good buggy in this game is to get a pro kit, select a good engine and buy a decent radio all seperately.
the pro kit of any of those buggies will do.
Just remember though, its mostly about driving.
Mind you a good pro kit should be running long after your mates have retired with broken parts ;).

You really only have to watch out for the guy with the Losi, as the rex-x is a cheaper buggy with a not so hot engine and the 2-speed won't help at all off road.

RE: Buggy choice

The best RTR combos on the market are the RC8RS RTR, the Losi 8ight RTR and the HoBao hyper 8.5 BRCA edition, which comes with a starter box and a reasonable steering servo as standard.
These 3 represent the serious end of the RTR market. The BRCA is the one to go for if you want to race at a local club as its the only one with a .21 engine. As RTRs go all 3 have reasonable engines, with only the Losi having a 2.4ghz radio.

RE: Buggy choice

The Caster Racing ZX1-R RTR has a decent radio with alot of trim and epa adjustments on it and also comes with a .21 to be legal and is built really well. Just another option. But out of all the ones mentioned above if I had to choose from that list I would get the RC8.

RE: Buggy choice

If you are at interested in racing one day, you should get the 8ight. Once you have a spektrum you will never want to go back to regular radios.
