A good starting point is 5/7/3 front to rear.

I would go with those same numbers as a starting point, but it does depend on track conditions, driving style, etc... How do you like the conversion over nitro?

I converted mine over 4 years ago with a motor that you now know as a Neu 1515 1y. The power is almost to much and with the castle mamba monster it is too much. Almost. I use the oil weights already that you mentioned except I use 1000 in the rear. Would using the 3000 help me get better traction? I can spin my tires down the straits without ever really hooking up. Right now I'm running on an indoor track here in Huntington beach. I can't wait to take it to an out door track.

I think thicker diff oil in the back will only make you spin out more! Id say go 5000/7000/1000 or even 5000/5000/1000 that will make the car pretty controlable!

If youre spinning the wheels down the straights, then go to 10,000 in the center

I'm running 5/7/1 right now. I will try 5/5/1 and see how that works. Then I'll try 5/10/1 and see what the difference does. Thanks for all your help everybody.

Puting 10K in the center will more evenly distribute power between the front and rear wheels, running 5K would let more power be transferred to the front wheels.

Hoese, just curious, which combo would you try first.

RE: Diff oil

If it were me, I would try the 10K first. The 5K will transfer more power up front and under acceleration, the rear squats and takes weight off the front tires, decreasing traction where most of the power is going.

If my thought process is correct, the trade-off will be that the buggy will be a little twitchier in the bumps.
