HELP!!!!!!

1 Attachment(s)
Help lease! I have an Ofna ultra lx pro and I broke this piece, I know I should know what it is but I dont! If anyone can tell me what the name is and where in the world I can order one I will be very grateful! One other thing that is wrong with it, the bearing in the pull start is not working, so when I go to start it, I have to pull on it like 20 times to get it to engage and make the motor spin, does anyone know how to fix this problem? Sorry all, but Im new to this and as you can guess, dont know much! LOL! [img][/img]

RE: HELP!!!!!!

Someone else can elaborate on this with the proper terminology but I think that the spring or pin that turns your piston rod has broke or became worn out for your starting mechanism. You might have to take your pull start off and inspect. But wait for a second opinion before you do this. This is just from experience from when I owned a TNX 5.2R. Ken

RE: HELP!!!!!!

This is really the first thing I have had to fix on it, I run it pretty hard up at the local track. I like it alot, for the price I think its good. I wonder if they make an aluminum part for it?

RE: HELP!!!!!!

the reason you have to pull 20 times to get your pullstart to engage is your one way bearing is either bad or loaded with oil.....one thing u might try is to take it out and clean it....then carry ur buggy by the rear wing keeping the nose down ...I would also store the buggy with the nose down a bit

RE: HELP!!!!!!

Does the fuel get into there? I thought it would be sealed?

RE: HELP!!!!!!

i would NOT store the truck/buggy nose down...all the excess fuel left in the motor will sit on the front bearing seals and eat away at them....eventually causing them to leak and start causing issues....i store my car's level and Off the shocks.

RE: HELP!!!!!!

Well Geee I have been hanging all my trucks in the direction of the front of the engine for a lot of years to keep what little fuel left in the engine away from the OWB. Wow I guess I'm just lucky that this has worked and not eaten every bearing I have stored for the 10 plus gallons of fuel I burn every year showing different models and the 4 gallons plus every year of 30% I use every year. Or could it be from shutting off the engine properly so the there is very little fuel left in the engine. But I'll have to think about changing everything that works before I set my RC's flat. Hope you don't mind :D
