os v spec takes a couple seconds to rev down?
I'm on my 8th tank for breakin and the engine takes a couple seconds to rev down to idle. Is this due to a rich lsn (fuel build up) or vice versa. I have been slowly leaning my hsn and have the engine up to 200-210 F. Lots of smoke still from stop to go. Not a lot of response yet. Pinch test took about 6 seconds to slightly rev up and then kill the engine. Any input would be great before I run another tank in a couple days. Thanks. Ken

your lsn may be a little lean.

If it's returning to idle LITERALLY within 2 seconds, you should be just about right I would think. Anything much longer than that and you've probably got a lean LSN as was said.

LSN to lean. Open it up slowly until the revs return to idle faster. If that doesn't work you might have a air leak around the carb throttle body.
