whats diff weights do you run?

im am about to start hitting the track with my buggy and would like to know what every one runs in their diffs, and on what type of track. (tight, low traction, high traction, bumpy?) im thinking in the ball park of 3-5-1 or 3-3-1 (front-mid-rear) but am open to suggestions. thanks

What car, motor, tires, track, etc.....

Usually, it takes some experimenting to come up with a good base setup for whatever track you are running.

Need more info.

Just put 5-4-2 in my hyper 9, this was the advice I got from the guys at the track who run the same car. Its a small track with alot of turns and jumps but few straight aways. It has helped to keep the font end from hopping up on take off. Also the hyper 9, according to them came with grease in the diffs but not the real stuff. Just grease.

i run a hyper 7 pcr edition with a hyper .21 8 port race (with a spyder center diff) . the track is somewehere in the middle as far as turns and straights go and is pretty high traction whith double dees and holeshots being the preffered rubber

I'd start at 5-7-3 and work from there.

Depends how you like to drive as well. Just play around. If you read mags or anything like that they will say to start with 5 7 2 for a buggy.

I just tried 3/5/2 in my 8ight and I really like it. Tons of offpower steering and overall steeing while feeling stable because of the lower center diff oil.

Nope it is Thunder Alley. Red clay, semi hardpack (both bow-fighers and m3 Holeshot work good, but holeshot wear WAY faster), and rough. I took a couple videos if anyone wants to check them out, [link]http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z94/mrc20023/[/link]. Please excuse the very pioor camerwomen. ;)
