Hey guys,
I have a few quick questions for you . i have been into nitro buggy's for about 5 years not but i have never raced them. After visiting a local track last weekend i would like to start racing but I'm not sure where to start. I currently have a Duratrax axis and i hate it. Its fine for bashing around but i don't think it would be any good for racing and from what i remember its hard to get parts for because they discontinued the model. I was thinking about buying a RC8b roller and put my electronics and engine out of the axis and put it into the RC8b (not the stock axis engine). my question for you guys is. How good is the RC8b on the track compared to the other popular models? I know Team associated is known for there racing but how good is it compared to the losi, mulgen, kyosho ect...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Associated is the one of the top models.
At my track the top cars are losi then Associated then the others.
It suppose to be a great car and the B made it better. Hope that helps.

The RC8b is very smooth and fast. It can hang with any other brand out there.

After you find the kit that suits you my only piece of advice is "oil your filter, oil your filter, oil your filter" and make sure you have a few battery packs which you can change out after each heat. Zip Tie everyfuel line to its connection if running nitro and lock tight any metal screws that fasen to aluminum. Last but not least if you by one roller then you might as well buy two, the second is for parts. The rest is all preference and performance.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif
