rechargable Glow plug starter

Ipurchased this rechargable Glow starter yesterday and I was wondering how long it should take to charge? No instructions came with this model. The Red Led light comes on when you plug it in and charge but it has been charging all day 12+ Hrs and the Led is still lit. Does the LED light go green or turn off once it has a full charge? Am Iover charging it?
When Iconnect to the glow plug it goes from 0-2 on the meter on top. Anyone else use this starter?Sorry for the stupid question this is my first nitro buggy. Thanks.

Generally, the light just stays on. Those wall-wart chargers don't have very high output so it would not be uncommon for it to take at least 4 hours to fully charge depending on the capacity of the battery.

12 hours is plenty full. Now go drive all day. Welcome the the fun.[8D]
Quick question, is it one of those glow plugsticks that you can adjust the voltage??? If yes, take out your glow plug and stick it in the glowstick to check that your glowplug glows RED-ORANGE and doesnt burn through the glow plug it'self, your glowplug should only need about 1.2-1.5 volts.2volt could burn out the plug. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info, I work late all week so I will fire it up this week end to break in the motor. I also bought a Go Pro video Camera. I might attach it also to record some RC bashing. You can not adjust the voltage but it has a meter on top which reads 0 to 2(red) 2-6 (Green). I assume that this is the volts you were refering about.   It reads 0 until you connect it to the plug then reads 2. </p>

Well it is my 1st nitro and I dont expect anything other than bashing and playing with my kids and brother inlaw. He has a Jato and my kids have the E-Revo VXL1/16 and the Slash VXL1/16. I bought a XTM XT2 X-Terminator 2 for $199 a few days ago. The XTM should do great and if I feel I had to later I could buy something different or not. I also fly E-planes so I have to split up the funds a little.

Lets say your glow igniter batt says 2000mAh and your charger says 200mAh then it should take: 2000/200 = 10hrs to fully charge that batt

do you know what my rechargeable glow plug igniter is? a dynamite C-cell with cotton in the inside with a rechargeable AA this way, if i run low, i can grab another one of the 3 left with 2700mAh each!
i had a rechargeable one, then whipped it on the cement then ran it over with my 1/1 car- i hated that thing!! 8hours to charge and dies in a few minutes of continuous use.[:'(]
