RC8B officail thread
i havethe bought the rc8b and is amazing. this a thread that lets u show off the rc8b wit photos and just talk about any issues with building the kit. ill start off. when i wa building the kit, i had a little trouble with the hub bearing near the front steering. it just wouldn't fit. i tried to shave a little of it off to see if it would fit but nothing. ended up crack the bearing and they sent me a new one. I was thinking about puting the reedy 21. 121vr engine in it because thats what ryan mayfield runs. but heard so many problems about it. any one run the reedy 21. 121vr

RE: RC8B officail thread
I just received my RC8Be team kit. So far I haven't have any problem with the setup. I need: power connector, batteries, and receiver. to make it run. I'll post updates after that. I don't know anything on that engine of yours</p> |

RE: RC8B officail thread
is the RC8B factory team edition a kit or a race roller?
|
RE: RC8B officail thread
For me, Roller or kit, i always take them apart and start from scratch. Idon't trust the manufacturer pre-built. My SC8Be was a in kit. and I love it.
I'll post pics soon. |
RE: RC8B officail thread
Nice... I just picked up the RC8 RS RTR and it looks great. Can't wait to break it in and get started.

RE: RC8B officail thread
Remember to at least go through all the screws and bolts and verify for blue thread lock on each one of them.
Have fun with it and enjoy |

RE: RC8B officail thread
I have just got mine, or, a used one that is! Or, two used ones, one in parts! Hehe. The "whole" one is undergoing a convertion to rallycar, i think i will make a thread about it here. The other one is missing two rear camber arms to be a complete car and some other small pieces, so i will mount it up to see what it is missing.
