Fastest pass was 89 mph with a $120 motor. Running 6S1P 5000 mAh ThunderPower packs and a Castle ICE240 controller. Not an airboat though....

I am working on converting an old fuselage to a pusher prop snow plane. First attempt with three skis was unstable due to torque thrust causing a right hand flip. Four ski conversion was better but still not quite what i had hoped for.
Currently experimenting with a thrust vector steering setup for the pusher prop. I'm using a .32 outrunner motor with a truck ESC. I seem to have enough power.
I had originally envision skis for winter use and floats for summer use....

Default Thrust Angle

My thrust vector steering works! As I ramp up the motor it puts down pressure on the front skis. Do I need a little down angle on the motor to counteract this effect? I need a small amount of lift or the skis will bury themselves in loose snow.
