Default Air boat in reverse?

I'm quite new to RC stuff but I just built an air boat and I am using a FlySky FS-GT2B transmitter. Is it possible to have the throttle make the prop go backwards so I can back out of a tight spot? When I push the trigger forward, nothing happens. Should it not reverse direction? thank for any advice.

It depends if your speed control has reverse built into it and programmed for it....but yes, it is possible to have reverse.

Yes. Unless you're using an aircraft transmitter which won't have reverse.
