Default big swamp buggy cg

Hello all. I have a BSB and was wondering what the cg would be.
Or a good starting point.

Thanks in advance.

Mine was about 30% ahead of the transom and it worked well.

Around 30% is a good place to start. Depending on the hull style, it could go as far as 35%.

Lets see it. Do you have any pictures ?
On mine, I have two cedar rails about 12" long mounted to the sides- outside the hatch covers- starting about 3" from the transom forward. Then I just use wood screws to mount my aluminum engine stand to the rails - very easy to move, for-aft as well as being able to angle it right -left to counter torque steer. or add washers under to tip engine up -down.
I started using this teqnique for foam boats - and it worked so good I did it with the BSB.

Sorry no pics. I need to get a cam so I can get pics of all my planes and boats.
A friend of mine gave the hull to me. There wasn't anything else with it. So I made
a mount and rudder set up of my own. I'm running an old enya 45 for power.
I've never used it before so I thought this might be a good test bed for it. I am
hoping to get an old digital cam from a friend, so if and when I get one I'll
be sure to post a pic or two.

Nice ! I like the flames. Mine has aluminum hatch covers over the entire boat - as well as a big canopy. I have pics - but they are at home.
I like the engine mount simple and effective.
