Default "Selph-Inflicted" Woody

I have been building from wood here lately. Here is one of my hulls. It is 26"x12", pure flat bottom constructed of luan. It weighs in at 6 lbs. 5 oz. ready to run. Powered by a TH46 running a 11-4 MA. I have GPS'ed this boat at 35.3 mph on grass.

Nice looking boat, like the timber finish.

How do you water proof your electronics compartment?

Thanks for the compliment!

I seal the compartment with radio box tape.

Hi guys
My name is Lindsay , I'm from Australia and I to have an interest in RC airboats.
I agree nice timber boat, You can't beet the look of timber ,you should try inlaying a strip of teak, ash then teak ,
this looks like a "GT" racing strip.I have seen this on a racing boat it looks Hot!.

Thanks for the compliment Lindsay!

Here is a video of it running dry ground. The boat wasn't hurt in any of the flips.
