Default Inverted gas engine ok?

Planning the tower to mount my Zen G23.

Would like to run it inverted to lower the CG but when looking at your pics, I don't see many done that way. The plane guys don't seem to have a problem doing this. There's obviously a reason why so do tell.

i don't see why not, but propeller size will determine how low the engine can go...

I have the Gators setup with the engines upright, reason being I have not found enough advantage to having the engine inverted, to justify the extra work of setting the engine up this way. With the G23 your only looking at lowwering just a couple of ozs. TerboBob does his gassers inverted, surely he will be on here before too long with why he runs his inverted.

I have done inverted gassers . the only drawback I know of is they get flooded a LOT easier on first startup , and accomodating the header/exhaust pipe CAN be a chore just in itself !

Fantastic. If the CG isn't that big of an issue, then I'll just leave it as is. Last thing I want to deal with is flooding the thing. (i'm renowned for doing it)[&o]
