I recently made an electric airboat based on a couple of tri-point hydros that I‘ve seen on various forums. It's about 18" long and 15" wide overall, not counting the rudder. It has a 600 brushed motor, 8.4V NICAD and a 9-6 prop. Yeah, it's heavy. The build details and test results are on my WEB page at
