Default 1/4 scale RC Airboat

I have designed and built an 1/4 Scale RC Airboat. This boat runs on a Step Hull which I Designed and Engineered. The boat is powered by a 50cc-5.2 HP model Airplane motor. The Propeller is a 22x10 Pusher and does great for the application. The hull dimensions are 38.5" in length, 24" across the transom and 4" deep in the step and transom. I have also made a set of 0.035 Aluminum Air Foiled Rudders and an Aluminum Gas tank fot the boat. Runs Great on the hill and in the water. I am trying to get rid of a few of these and save up to make the full size mold of this design.

Real nice boat. Where in Cocoa are you running? I live in P.S.J. and I am always looking for a good lake to run the gassers on. Dennis

524 power lines and grissom power lines are good when they have water but otherwise I will go to lake florence. But it is good to know that someone else close by runs boats

Nice boat! Excellent work!

The RCAA will be getting together on October 16 & 17 in Dunnellon, Fl. There is a "sticky" on the top of the forum with information. We would enjoy having you come and burn some fuel with us!

I have been trying to get a group together to run in the local area. A friend of mine meets with me on saturday mornings at small ponds on Grissom Blvd. We have'nt found a decent lake for gassers except behind the Lowes store in Titusville and you have to have a retrieval boat there which we have'nt built yet. Where is Lake Florence? I think we could run in Rockledge at the corner of Clearlake Road and Pluckebaum Road. Dennis

I have heard about Lowes once before. Lake Florence is along the East Bank ofLake Poinsette and When you are driving between 520 in Cocoa to Fiske Blve Exit along I-95 it is where you see the airboat landing on the west side of the highway. The pond on the corner of Clearlake and Pluckeebaum is very deep, like 40' feet + but I have heard that people have run there.

If you would be willing to sell one of these hulls by itself, I would be interested!

I am interested in one of your hulls. can you send me some pricing. Do you think a Ryobi 31cc conversion will run your hull?
thank you
