Do tell me more on the wing.

Are you planning to fly off of a boats wake?

What motor will you be using and where will it be located?

BTW! Very nice job, you should be very proud.

Wing Consept.
The concept is strictly an "Oh Wow...! approuch.
It really dosn't have any aerodynamics, it evolved from just a stright wing to the "Delta" wing.
I will probably run a 60 size engine, or maybe a 25cc srting trimmer motor. Don't know yet.
Like I said in the first post, it will weight close to 10 pounds depending on the motor I choose.
If you expand the first pic, and look on the deck right under the wing, you will see (4) holes.
From the bottom side of the deck, I expoxied a "Drilled and tapped" aluminum plate to except an aluminum motor mount that is in the process if being machined.
I only took an educated guess as to where the CG will be.
There again, it will depend on the motor I choose to use, and the design of the motor mount will allow me to adjust that.

Attached is a pic of the wing section before it was covered. (Mock-up)
It dosn't show, but I added two wood spars (3/16" dowels) that go through the sections.

And by the way Chris, I will have it in Florida...!
Also I hope to have the 1/2A ready as well.

sirwalter........

you say the 1/2A hull is a WOF ?

Great job. How long you been doing this?????;):D

What are the dimensions?
length...
beam...
rise...at transom bottom center to deck
angle used on the hull bottom (v)

???what make of prop is that? I've never seen one for a 1/2A with that much blade area.
That thing should provide LOTS of thrust [8D]

Interesting idea on the wing.......

Maybe down the line you can make the wing take off from the hull on its own to be a glider:D With radio gear aboard, of course...
