Where to put the rudder?

I'm planning to use a ordinary boat hull (not a speed boat design, just a 'normal' typical boat) as the basis for an air-boat. It has had the propshaft removed by the previous owner as it was going to be converted for use as a twin-prop, but it's too much hassle and expense to do this myself. I will soon have an OS40LA surplus once my JEN .56 replaces it on my plane. I'm thinking of mounting it on the boat. However, the boat has a keel. It's intended to be used in water only so should I have a underwater rudder or a large air rudder behind the engine? II'm not sure on this one, you see.
Many thanks,

If your going to keep the keel, you might as well go with a water rudder.

Being from the UK, I know you guys run different types of hulls as we do here in the states.

Is this hull a Multi style hull?

Can you post a pic or two?
