A lot of people sell it but the best that I've found so far for the best price can be gotten at most large Dept. stores. Look or ask for window sealing tape. Seeing how you live in an area where you get snow, it shouldn't be too hard to find. I usually get mine at Walgreen's but have seen it at other stores too. Home Depot, Menard's and those type of stores should have it also. I've also heard that some people are using Hockey stick tape. I'm going to try some of that the next time I head to the LHS, there is a Hockey Pro Shop next door.

I use vinyl electrical tape.
Cheap and easy to find.
Not sure if you can get clear but you can find it in various colors.
In my experience the stuff doesn't last long enough to justify the expense of buying actual 'hatch' tape.
