Default USS Arizona

Hi All,
Looking for a bit of help or advice. I normally post on the RC Tank thread but thought I might try something a bit different. I recently bought the Trumpeter 1/200 scale USS Arizona. I would like to RC it and want to know if anyone has already done so and if they did a build thread? The model is awesome and can't waite to start building it. As is always, any help and or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

How big is it? A couple of 360 motor's would do the trick, but nothing bigger.

Deathwish,
It's a little over 3 feet long. Are you aware of anyone doing a build thread? I have some questions about the model itself that I would like to ask. Thanks for your help.

I don't seem to be getting any responses, Should I make this post in Sclae Ships section?

I havent seen any post about this model. But i would go with 2 360 motor's, 1 esc that can handle the load of both motor's which i dont think would be much. and one servo to control the rudder's. u can find small servo's on site's like ebay that weigh like 3grams to help keep the weight down. as for a power source i don't know maybe a lipo battery.

A 3 foot model won't need a lot of power to push it. I'd be more worried about top weight than power in this case. If the boat is too top heavy, it will take little to nothing to roll it over like the Oklahoma after a few torpedos
