Need part for K&B 3.5 Outboard! PLZ HELP!
I need a part for an old K&B 3.5 Outdrive. I was getting it tuned up for my friend and when it died (Running a little rich) went out and retrievd it, and there was a bit of metal chipped off of the lower outdrive next to the prop. It would be impossible to repair and i cant find that lower outdrive part! The engine cannot be run with it. Has K&B gone out of bizness? I gotta get that part for him because i broke it (I have no idea how!)! HELP!

LOL
Don't we all!I had an awesome session with my tunnel hull today (55") and the engine is finally starting to break in. I pulled my Prather 270 today so that I could polish, sharpen and put a nice back notch on it to reduce the load and WOW! It actually comes up on the pipe and starts to boogie. The engine I got with it in the deal is a BH Hanson Indy Zenoah (old 2 port, 2 ring) with a Hanson tuned pipe. This thing was never ran in so when I got it I had to do the honors and now it is finally paying off. I have a 260pum I am modding and getting it ready for next season. I found the best way to run a r/c boat is either from the bow of a pontoon boat (party barge) or my wave runner, what a blast!. This thing actually has enough weight to it to handle some decent wake turbulance from other full size boats. I should have given up helis sooner, this is really fun! If anyone needs the other lower end let me know (One in package)..

sweet. I have never actually owned an R/C boat but i have driven a few. I am thinking about building an electric tunnel hull boat with a dolphin II outboard. Seems like i could do it with some thin plywood (Airplane stuff) and maybe some balsa... First I gotta save up $60 for the outboard. That could take me awhile...
