For that jet drive in a 24 inch boat, I would go with a 3000kv motor such as [link=http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=14622]this outrunner[/link] with a 30C or higher 2200-3000mah 3S lipo. Install a nipple on the stator housing to provide water cooling.

You might get away with a 35A esc, but I think I would go with a 60A Seaking or Turnigy, just for the insurance. They don't cost that much more, and hold up well.

How do you water cool an outrunner?

so with the out runner being water cooled were you referring to running a nipple at the rear of the boat or from the jet to get the water supply?

Glue a nipple to the stator housing on the jet. Just be careful not to drill into a stator vane.

Ok so any help will be appreciated i ran into an issue the hull and transom do not line up with the drive they actually offset the drive about an inch which in the future will cause sealing issues. The only way i can see to correct this is try another hull or disfigure the transom or hull to get a correct seal which will look horrible. Hope you can help with my road block!!

They will work with that jet drive. But I've not seen the BBY drag boat run yet. Nobody has posted any results that I know of.
