we make a lot of big boats. our cats max out at 60" any bigger and they go into 3 oversize for shipping and that bill goes up a 100.00 or so just for a few more inches we do make a 62" mti but the extra shipping charges have kept its sales down, the cool thing i will point out is things are changing and we are selling a fair amount of our big hulls to be powered with electric, almost unheard of in years past, now about 20 - 30 percent, pretty cool stuff, the 62" mti was made to incurage the use of turbines in model boats. i also thought the use of the wing would be neat for guys that just want more going on, my thoughts, the wing would be on a servo for on the fly adjustments, and those adjustments would be made every heartbeat by a gyro

Tom, you might want to read the site rules to keep yourself site legal. Manufacturers may only post only so many times with product announcements and also as a manufacturer you have to include something in your signature denoting you as such. Something like "Manufacturer of Expresscraft Boats" or "Owner, Spare Time Hobbies" usually does the trick. There are also a few other rules that you have to follow. Paying advertisers also have a few perks that non-advertisers get.
There is a link at the bottom of this page that explains all of the rules.
I was a Mod in here for about 4 years so I had to know all of them inside and out.

man ron i thought you had to be making money to be a manufacturer? im basically a guy building some boats, anymore. hey rc guy whats up with the hatch is that just a plug in the works i see you added a rudder mount as well. ron i will look into what you are saying, ive only made a few post on rcu, but as far as business goes, im a far cry from that.

Seeing how I'm no longer a Mod and how you asked to make sure that you were complying with site rules to make sure that you were doing nothing wrong, I was just letting you know you're fine.
Honestly, I've seen the prices of your boats, you have to be making a few bucks off them. Making or losing money is not the point, you do own an RC-related business and have a website showing such.
When I was a Mod in here I got this from a few hobby shop owners and/or manufacturers. Noting that you are isn't a bad thing actually as it is a little free advertising in a way, you just can't use a .com or other link to your site in your signature.

OK, now back to the program already in progress..........

it probably is ours just the hatch is filled in, the nacta ducks our not really scale and our in our boat for the model application,so im sure it is ours. i did get kicked off the dock, i think for saying the rcmk s 520 is not ready out of the box, i think its a great motor but i keep talking to people that they are locking up on, so its good info, to me its like saying our mti is a great looking boat once you finish our unfinished seams, its just info i did not make it that way, but im not in the good old boys club, ron i kind of thought my user name expresscraft gave me away, im not trying to be under the radar, i thought the rules say i can post once a week? am i reading something wrong?

No, you're basically fine except you still need the signature. I used ot just PM members that were manufacturers or hobby shop owners to let them know. Yeah, we're all supposed to read the rules but assume that one forum site is like another but noooooo, this place has to be different! I assumed this and have admiited that when I was new, I never read them.
I don't know about the RCMK 520 issues yet a other engines have problems. A lot people I found out try to keep what's wrong with Zen's quiet also.

so do i need to change something on my user name? other then it just being expresscraft, i dont know how to do the little icon thing either, ive been building and i like to think contributing to the hobby for a long time, after all these years of making big boats there is finally a power plant that fits them well, the last thing i would want to do is hurt that motors rep,but info is info, i was just passing it on,its not like that motor is stock in any boat, so anyone that would buy one is already building his boat, this is just something else that needs to be done, i remember buying a brand new picco .67 and blowing it up, 1st run, when i called , i think tidewater, they said everyone knows you have to put a rpm rod in there, well i did not know,i thought the 365.00 was enough for a nitro .67 to expect it to at least stay together, with the right info i dont think any of the guys running picco had a problem with what needed to be done, anyways i think the dock is fine, if i do get back on i will just post our stuff from time to time and keep to myself, its really not worth it to me, i do not say anything trying to start trouble, but maybe i come off that way,

thank you, we make 3 different mti cats, 1st one has the rounded transom with the exhaust stacks on the decks, 2nd mti exhaust stacks gone, squared off over hang and windshield details, 3rd boat no scoop, 2" longer and modeled after turbine mti, this allows builders to model after there favorite team boat, hope some guys with mti's will show theirs here.

yours is the 2nd one, im sure it ours he just filled in the hatch opening, and probably did not care about rc use, we have done them before. for guys that want to see in 3d what there paint will look like, it a lot cheaper then 60,000 for painting a real boat
