Default 2011 Christmas Gifting

Well, It is that time of year!
We have had such a great time with this last few years that I thought we might try it again this year.
The same rules apply as before.
Time to get looking around the work shop for those un needed parts and items that will be able to help out some one else.
This thread is to promote the holiday spirit.

There are a few rules with this thread.
#1 One gift per person per week.
#2 No asking for gifts.
#3 give as many gifts as you want.
#4 be cordial!!! we are all friends here.

Lets have some fun and help each other out.
Best of luck to everyone and Happy Hollidays

You might want a Rule #5; only one item or package per person.
I've seen things get ugly before with greed. One example was someone who got a lot of goodies then turned around and sold the stuff on eBay. That didn't go over too well with the donors.

Ron,

I understand. We put a one item per week here last year and it went well.
I was thinking of adding that only members can clam items and they can not clam them for non-members.

I see that they've done the same thing on The Dock and IW.
If a gift hasn't been taken by a certain date then maybe someone who has already gotten one can request it.

that sounds good.
If an Item has not been clamed in a week, someone who has already gotten a gift can ask for it!

Well it is very easy. You post what you have and then state if you are paying for shipping or not.
Some one will say that they would like that item and should send you a pm as well.
You will contact that person via PM and get the information to send that item or items to them.
It is very fun and it helps out those getting into the hobbie alot.

My 2 cents. (and not to overly complicate things)
~ 1 item per member per week (7 day period).
~ Members must be registered for more than 3 months with more than 3 boat posts (avoids new accounts and makes moderation easier)
~ All claims for a gift are to be made on the board.
~ A response to gifter acknowledging receipt of item once delivered (was once common courtesy but sadly was in short supply last year).
~ I would like to see anyone taking a gift also able to offer something up too.
~ Will end all claims for gifts Midnight 12-25-2011.

Seems like things are at a stand still here, but I have something to offer. One day I got bored and started to make a wood radio box like a fiberglass one I have.It needs sanded ,sealed,a servo tray if you're mounting servos upright and a plexiglass lid.Shipped free in the US.

Where's the spirit ? Looks like over 400 views, three people giving and one possible gift receiver.Dig into your stash of goodies and give something. If these items were on RC Groups free section they would be gone by now.

If I can afford to give a few items away that I don’t use much than I’m sure that there a lot of others out there that can do the same. We need to get into the spirit.. I haveseveral items on the market, when the item I listed goes I will post another from my sale adds. So forth and so on. SO MERRY CHRISTMAS>>>>>>>>

RB Innovations Air Filter

filter systems are flexible enough to adapt to any super-charged or non super-charged
Features
Filter is totally sealed
Cleaned easily using air filter cleaner
Chrome plated front and end caps

You pay Shipping Like $5.00 I'm guessing....
