Default newbie: need some info

I bought an old Challenger I think it is a ways back here on RCU as a project. This is supposed to use a weed eater engine, but somebody has cut up the top front for access to a fuel tank or something.
I am wanting to fix this ugly thing, but need to get the top & bottom seperated to do so.

Not knowing what kind of glue was used to glue the 2 halves of the boat together, what would more experienced users suggest to try to dissolve the glue?

thanx in advance for any and all help, it is appreciated!

Is the glue hard or soft? Some were put together with RVT. Try an exato knife in the seam. If it's glased together, you wil have to cut it with a saw Eather way good luck
