Default ZAMA Carb Tuning

I have read some very detailed and useful info in this site for carb tuning. I have one more to clarify an adjustment. The metering lever which has the needle valve on one end and a spring on the other, pivots on a small rod. I have adjusted several tillotson and walbro and they differ in whether or not the end of the lever should be level with the floor of the metering chamber or level with the body of the carburetor. Does anybody know the proper adjustment for a Zama C1U H18 carburetor? They are probably all very similar but I thought I would be specific.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Tim
