i have a fish torpedo rc boat that is on the cheap side as far as electronics. i was curious to see if it was worth it trying to upgrade them. it does have a twin brushed motor in it.if it is possible to do what would be some recommendations as far as motors and esc i do know ill have to add a steering system and water cooling.

A lot of toy grade RC boats aren't worth upgrading to be honest with you.Having the twin motor setup (I'm assuming that it's what's called vector thrust steering) doesn't make it any easier.

These are not worth upgrade unless you are in love with the design of the hull. You will have to purchase all the components including the radio transmitter separate and try to make a matched system that works together. About the only thing you can keep is the motors and drive shafts.
It is cheaper in the long run to just purchase a better boat , you know is matched and works together. Take a look at the Aqucraft boats. They are affordable and work well.
