Do a search on this site as there should be many threads about running boats in saltwater. No use in being redundant when there's a ton of postings on the subject.

Seen them on youtube running in salt water , If you run in salt water make sure you rinse off all salt water with fresh water and and dry and lube shaft and rinse out the cooling system also with fresh water .

You can use something like WD-40 to spray down a lot of the hardware and cooling system but use good and more expensive stuff like Corrosion X for electronics. Don't use WD-40 on electronics though as I've ruined more things with that.

WD 40 = Water displacement, formula #40. It's good stuff. Bad side, it conducts electricity. You need to blow it off after use. I take my servos apart and fill them with die electric grease. same with the receiver. Works great! I live on the coast in Fl. and run saltwater all the time. Spray wd into your pick up tubes after flushing, and leave it there till your next run. Even fresh water will corrode your jug and exhaust pipe. I have 3 boats. Hope this helps.
