Default UL-1 Silly Question

I have a UL-1 that is pretty much stock. It's plenty fast enough; however, I am just unsatisfied with the lack of ability to turn (effectively) both directions. I figured, maybe I could pull out the hardware and put it into something else. www.hobbyking.com has lots of hulls, so that would be a start. I use the same batteries in my Traxxas Rally that the power the boat, so that isn't a problem either.

Just looking for ideas.

Thanks
Crusty.

The UL-1's like a lot of other racing boats (note racing, not play) are designed to run in clockwise ovals so as a rule they don't make lefts well. There are other hulls that the running gear will drop into but sorry, they're racing boats also.

There has to be SOMETHING I can stick it in... I'd be happy with a racing V-Hull.....

There probably is as the driveline by itself is getting very popular with the racers so classes have been formed using it. www.offshoreelectrics.com has hulls for just about everything electric. I shouldn't mention it but they've also got a good forum area for FE boaters. You can later unload what you don't use from your donor.
