Lake Creature
Hi Guys
Thanks for this forum.
I've come here for suggestions and direction from the people who know. I'm a slot car guy, but really don't know much about the RC world.
My kids and I are building a lake creature. The base is built out of PVC piping and is a 3ft x 3ft square. We're planning on building the creature out of paper mache so the entire thing should be relatively light in weight.
I thought it would be fun to be able to drive the creature around the lake by remote control.
Can anyone give me the details on how to go about doing this? Is there a battery powered kit I can build with a rudder and propeller and attach to the base?
I went to my local RC shop and the guy wasn't very enthusiastic and told me just to buy one of their $160 boats and attach that to the base. I thought I'd check in here.
