Default Sterling Wood Model. U.S.S. Constitution

I have a unopened wood model kit of The U.S.S. Constitution. I cannot find any listings about Sterling Models. I don't know if I should leave it unbuilt because of the possible value or build and enjoy.

I just found two on Ebay. One apparently has a bid of $275, the other has a Buy now price of $400.
Just so you know, unless a model kit is in pristine condition, box and plastic wrap included, they tend to drop in value rather than go up
