Default New Boat Build - Please Check My Stuff!

Hi everyone. I'm normally hanging out in the monster truck threads but I ventured over here for some input on my 2nd boat build.

I picked up this hull - $200 shipped. The pictures are a bit ambiguous; mine is a twin motor. I'm very impressed with its quality so far.

Here's what I'm planning on putting in it:

Motors:

ESCs:

Servo:

And a few more odds and ends...I already have a 27MHz radio system to use.

So my main question is about the motor kv...I've compared my setup to other twin motor cats of roughly the same size- like the Hobbyking Apparition, Hobbyking Flowmaster, and Atomik C1- and they all use motors in the 2700 to 3000 kv range. But if you look at, say, the Hobbyking Genesis, that uses a single 2075kv...

I have a whole bunch of 2S lipos laying around because that's what I use in my HPI Savage (4S configuration). Side note my best ones are Gens Ace 5000mAh 50C, I highly recommend them. So I will be pretty much sticking with a 2S or 4S setup with the boat; if I buy more batteries they will be 2S so I can use them in both my boat and Savage.

Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Like I said my main head scratcher was the motor kv...perhaps something on the order of a 2700kv would be a good balance between cruising on 2S and using 4S for speed runs.

Other random footnotes: the stock props on the hull are pretty cheap...I already have some potential new ones from Offshore Electrics picked out but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
