Is it fully solar or does the small panel charge a battery during non-sailing time?

The drive is fully solar and the Rx is 1s130ma lipo

I am well impressed with the performance. Then I look at your location and mine and realize that you have a better expectation of strong sunlight than me. It must really help a lot with collecting energy.

Yes lots of sun this time of year. It even runs well on a overcast day.
