I live in London and love to go to the beach to do some mackerel fishing !

I have a bad back and casting the rod over and over again sometimes leads to me being in pains me fishing becomes less

Enjoyable

Iím looking for a RC boat that case a range of 400-500 meters if possible? That can carry 1-2oz weight

Ideally a boat with some speed too please

Can someone point be towards the right direction please ?

Many thanks

The UK is loaded with model boaters. I'd suggest finding your local hobby shop and heading there. They should be able to point you to the local club.

Most "full range" radios claim 0.5Km surface range. There is a legal limit on transmitted power, so that tends to be the power that is transmitted. Operating over lumpy water will reduce that.
Any boat big enough to be seen usefully at 500 metres (you are hoping to be able to get it back?) will be OK carrying a couple of ounces of payload, plus whatever is going to handle the dropping off of the payload.
Looking for "offshore electric racer" will probably be a good start.
