Question Needle Valve K&B 40 marine

I have a K&B 40 marine model 8060 and I would like to know if I need a needle valve for this engine?
Thanks

Does the engine have a carb on it? If it does, the needle valve should be part of the carb. NORMALLY, the throttle arm will be on one side of the carb, the needle on the other, next to the fuel inlet. The needle would look like an allen wrench with the bend at the far end from the carb.

K&B used several carburetors through the years. It’s important to know which one you have. This should help.
