Default Thinking about changing over outboard to inboard with my K&B 7.5

I currently have a prather splitfire with the 7.5 k&b outboard. I want to change the outboard engine to an inboard. can I do that by changing the back and front plates? Essentially making the outboard into an inboard. And if this is possible where would I get the two pieces that I need to change it into an inboard. Is K&B still in business? I've had this

K&B was bought out years ago by MECOA. What MECOA did was take all of the parts they had, built up as many engines as they could, and left it at that. From what I've heard, they do make some parts every so often but don't really do anything to really keep K&B going. As far as changing your engine, you would be better off buying a new engine from CMB or Nova Rossi or, if you can find one used for sale, buy that instead.
