Cat vs Tunnel set up.
I was maybe interested in turning my outboard tunnel hull (56") into an inboard. How hard would the conversion be, and what drives would suit it best? I have seen a couple of inboard tunnels but they were much smaller nitros. Would the forward weight give this design more stability or just be a headache? Any answers would be helpfull (almost any ).

RE: Cat vs Tunnel set up.
as long as you keep it balanced it should be more stable
use a flexi drive and strut.
56" that is some beast what engine you using 1.0 nitro or 35cc mathe

RE: Cat vs Tunnel set up.
It is powered by a Hanson Indy motor(230 pum) and tuned pipe which is actually pretty good for not being fully broke in but I think I have cought the speed bug and have purchased a 260 Pum (Ready for heavy modding ). The outboard unit I have (should be still pictured in my gallery) is really heavy and the weight savings should be a plus. The funny thing that Hanson charges so much for an engine that has barely been touched. I use to mod my own nitro's and looking at the gassers gives me sooo many ideas on how to improve power figures.
