From "forabuck" on eBay:

You can also e-mail him and he can make one for you, any color you want, anytime you want.

Yeah, the plain white ones are even cheaper than $160.00 I think.

51" Comet looks like a Baja.High quality finish. Its cheaper to buy a good boat the first time around than it is to buy 2 boats.

Why isn't a forabuck hull a good one?

They are good hulls for the price. But, there are hooks and rockers down the keel causing the boat to handle poorly. You can fix the bottom though. If you pay more you get a better boat.

Here is a picture of it. It is one of the first hulls that Prather made of this size. A previous member of our club turned his into a gas boat. It was pretty fast ran in the upper 40s' with a zenoah 230pun. Hull is 46in long.

Don't tell that old "myth" about Verns hull ( FORABUCK ) steer you in other ( wrong ) directions . Vern makes a VERY good hull and can and will ( unlike others ) make it to the weight specs you want .
And running high 40's , low 50's and runs like shes on rails , with a stock Zen 230PUM is NOT bad for a hull that is "supposed" to have all kinds of hooks and rockers !
Vern is an EXCELLENT man to deal with . I would HIGHLY recommend him .
And FTR - I own some of the "better" ( ) known named hulls and Verns is RIGHT there with them , and even in some cases , better !
Email him , or call him . HE stands behind his work ! ( unlike the others ! )

Thanks for all the input, guys. Im looking for something to put a 25cc homelite or similar in . I dont really want to spend 300 buck's on a Zenoah, though Im a fan of Zenoah. Im looking for something around 150 $, but i want the rails to mount the engine installed.

[email protected] ARE WORTH THE $240.00! Yes, that's right Bonzi Sports will sell you a [email protected] 260PUM for $240.00 plus $10.00 for shipping. You would be very happy with a [email protected]!

Sorry to hear that you would have wanted a Zen G23... there was one on EBAY that went for only $75.00 [&o]
