First, let me say "Hello all!". This is my first post here, as I have been out opf r/c boats for about 10 years now, but am looking to get back in.
Im wanting to make a scale model of one of my current (full size) boats...has anybody done this? The hull I would like to replicate, is a 1999 Roger's Bonneville. I know I probably can ever get an exact match, but does anybody have any resources for doing such a project?
Thanks a bunch!

Have a look at some of Pat Tritle's build ups in RC Boat Modeler, or here

Some of his topics are more than 30 days old, so you will want to reset the page view. He builds from photographs. You have the advantage of having the boat in the drive way.
It should just be a matter of laying out the hull frames, cutting them out and building up your hull.[8D]

That would be cool ot run a scale model of your boat alongside your real one. Figure out a scale that you'd like to build it in then do a lot of measuring on the big one then scale it down to a size that you'd be comfortable with. Contact the Manufacturer and tell them what you want to do and maybe they could provide you with some schematics. Promise them some pix when you are done.

I built a 16 inch replica of an 8 foot seaflea that my dad built 30 years ago. It works fine only goes 1/3 of the speed though. I built it out of balsa and fiber galss and used an electric motor. i'm sorry i have no pics.
