A few years ago my uncles freind gave me this rc boat its all wood, about 41" long 20" wide i say it weighs inbetween 5 to 10lb's its in really good shape.. i've had it all this time and its just been sitting in my room cause i have no idea what type of engine to put in it.. so right about now im thinking of saleing it and buying a rc heli.. any of you think its worth saleing? how much would you buy it for? or how much you think its worth? or should i keep it? if so what size engine do you think will fit in it? or how can i find out?

What it looks like that you have there is a Dumas Miss Circus Circus hull. See www.dumasproducts.com for more info on this boat. It takes a .60 size motor and it is a little much for a beginner to set up properly. You could keep it and maybe start off with something smaller to get you used to what you will need to know to get this boat where you need it or sell it. It's possible to get $100.00 or more out of it if you decide to unload it.
To get it up and running, you are looking at a lot of money with support equipment, in the neighborhood of $500.00 or more.

Wihtout bursting your bubble ... would be kinda hard to sell for $100.00 ( IMO )
I just sold one that came WITH a 40 and only got $75.00 outta her ( complete - minus Tx / Rx and belt )
Was a Dumas 36 incher though ..
But ... thats what I just experienced , otherwise , what Ron said is just about right on the money ( as far as setup and running )[8D]
I also noticed that your hull needs a little fixing ... which would also bring the price down some-what .
Again , this is just IMO .
