Default Newbie in RC-Boats!!! Please HELP!!!

Hi!
Does anyone know, where you are allowed to drive with an electrical power boat in Germany? ...I'm from Germany.

Hi CST,

Take a look on www.rc-raceboats.de/forum or www.hydroworld.de , there you'll find the bulk of the electric boaters in Germany and the places they run their boats.

Guck mal auf obengenannten sites, dort tümmeln die meiste Deutsche Böötle-Fahrer, mit ihre Fahrreviere.

Regards/Gruss, Jan.

Hi pompebled.

Thank you for the links.

Does anybody know how the legalities and laws are involved in driving such RC boats? Are you allowed to drive RC boats on any lake?

HI [8D],
I don't now how the legalities are, but you can drive on any lake you want so long as you're not caught by anybody!

CST,

In general youll need permission if it's a privately owned lake, in daily boating you will seldom be asked if you have that, unless you draw attention to yourself by performing stupid actions such as duckhunting with your boat or, even worse, scaring the hell out of swimmers...

When in doubt, ask the local police.

On the sites I mentioned, you can also post in English, if that's more convinient to you.

Regards, Jan.
