I've been thinking for a while now of making a fiberglass boat hull. It would pobably be a 30" catamran, but im not sure how to do it and if its possible with what i have.
I thought that all you have to do is make a wood frame, cut out foam in the shape of the hull you want, and then i could put fiberglass cloth over that, mabye put some body putty ontop of that for shape? would it work? I know it would be hard and take quite a bit of time, but im just wondering if it would work?
thanks for your help

For a site with a lot of info on Fiberglassing, try : www.fiberglast.com .
For the work and hassle you might find it cheaper in the end to buy one already made.

A catamaran is a hard form to build as a first boat.
I suggest you build a mono hull first to get some experience in working with wood / foam / glasscloth and epoxy resin.
If you need advice / plans / more suggestions, just ask!
