Hi,
I just did an amp test for a 700BB Graupner. Direct Drive with a 1 1/2 " 2 blade prop and a 2" 3 blade. Running 8 cell NiMh , I only hit 13 amps max holding boat static. Cant Imagine you will ever come close to 25 amps unless you run 12 cells or better

In my mono1 I run a 600 motor on 7 cells GP3300, 37,5K prop, runtime about 8 minutes.
If I apply the formula: 60 x A, divided by the runtime in minutes, I get (60 x 3,3) : 8 = 24,75 Ah current in 8 minutes.
My esc is a Jeti JES 30 which stays cold.
I run the same esc watercooled in my 12cells, 700 Neodym, 45K prop, Mono 2, and it performs very nice for three years now, in this boat I draw about 25-28 Ah over 7 minutes runtime.
Regards, Jan.
