Hey Everyone,
You know in those r/c warship wars and get together things? Well I have seen those islands they have out there...where can you buy those? Or do they build them? It would be cool to have one, and use it as your boat's base or dock. They sure are neat looking. Can't you recharge your boat on one or something like that? Just some Q's to throw at ya...

The Islands are scratch built. some are just passive islands for maneuvering, some have armed shore batteries. There is no recharging stations on the island, but they will shoot at you.

No not hard to build at all.
It's actually harder to transport and store them.
The building process is equivilent to;
1. Cut plywood.
2. Pile stuff on to make hills and mountains. Stuff can be newspaper, tupperware, blocks of wood...
3. Goop with several layers of resin and fiberglass.
4. Paint, and add foam to the underside for floatation.
5. Transport and throw in the pond with large brick anchor.
The tupperware, or old paint can is where you might place mechanical equipment for "features" like the shore battery, or pyro technics.

Be careful with your pyro technics or you buildings can go up in flames.
