All - I have a few questions regarding primer/paint applications.
1) I finished the hull with Polyester Resin, and the super structure with epoxy resin. Does it matter what kind of paint/primer I user for each? I wasnt sure if acrylic paint will adhear to the Polyester Resin.
2) What's the best primer/pain combination? I'm looking for brands etc...
3) How are most people applying the paint/primer? I have an airbrush kit, but wasnt sure if it could handle the thicker paints.
4) Where's a good place to purchase paint / primer?
Thanks in advance

ddgluck,
I'm pretty sure you can use the DoPont or any auto type primer. To be absolutely sure I suggest you PM TerboBob or Pro 27. They are both very experienced and knowledgeable in nearly all aspects of R/Cing.They post quite often in Airboats Forum.Best to ya!!

we have used Krylon paint for years on boats. Depending on what you want to do with the boat and the amount of abuse it will recieve, the Krylon is a lot less expensive.
