Default KYOSHO - Lamborghini C-1CAT nitro boat?

Hello Boat Lovers,

Has anyone seen in-the-flesh, or know more about the awesome looking new KYOSHO 'Lamborghini C-1CAT' nitro boat? It was displayed at RCX 2004, but I haven't seen or heard any more about it?

There is a great photo on the RC Universe RCX coverage.

Need to buy one right now! Assume it'll have a .18 engine?

Does anyone have the inside scoop?

The Kyosho Lamborghini C-1 has been reviewed in the June 2005 issue of RC Boat Modeler.

Hi Boat-nut-down-under,

The general reception of the Lambo cat overhere in Europe is mildly negative.

As a toy boat it's a nice concept, well thought out and constructed, but performance wise it's rather disappointing, mediun speed, ABS hull with trailing edges that must be sharpened, or they'll slow the boat considerably and the miserable steering outdrive that wears out at an alarming rate.

The same engine in a epoxy hull of similar size (the Lambo is a bit oversized for the engine) runs almost twice as fast, that's how "good" the hull design is...

The best is to see it run yourself, preferably not next to a epoxyhull cat.

Regards, Jan.
