Default duct or no duct?

my latest project is a hover craft with 2 engines one for lifting (ttr .10) and hoving and one for propeling it(o.s.46 la)

my question it on the pusher (or well puller?)set up

i noticed on the air boats that i seen there is no duct around the prop would the duct help or just drag the craft down?

since most of the hover crafts i seen all had ducting around the propeler

since my goal its to make shame of a friends t-maxx, I'm going for all out speed! so a clean airframe is best

Default duct or no duct?

Most of the time the duct is a safety feature. If it worked, I think that we would see it on airplanes. Go kick some T-Maxx tail!
